Overview

The Associate Portfolio Manager primary functions will be:

- ABG Dedicated Team Management. The Associate Portfolio Manager will be responsible for all aspect of the dedicate team development:

- Recruitment/Hiring

- Training/Development

- Territory Development

- Sales Programming and Execution

- Recapping and best practice sharing

- Associate Portfolio Manager will support the Portfolio Manager to develop strategic brand plans and execute pricing plan and market activities on their respective portfolio.

- Core Functions

- Pricing Management

- P&L Management

- Budget Management

- Inventory/Allocation Management

- Manage Sales Execution

- Forecasting/Phasing to Goal

- Mitigation Planning

- Resource Deployment

- Supplier Relationships

- Light House Account Universe – 15 Key Accounts

Responsibilities

  • Day to Day Team Management; hold weekly team and one on one meetings- while goaling them on key initiatives and driving their success in the key account universe
  • Portfolio Manager duties including inventory review, allocation management, goal phasing, leading sales execution thru ongoing communication (sell sheets, QBR/ Executive Reviews GSM’s)
  • Recapping Successes in the market, Sales Reporting, Budgeting Market Spends, and Marketing Programming including display enhancers.
  • Meet with top key Off/On premise account to develop strong working relationships.
Qualifications
  • Business Administration/Marketing Degree, Other relevant line of study, or equivalent experience
  • 4 Years’ experience working in the On/Off Premise, Distributor or Supplier Role; ability to work cross functionally to get business goals accomplished.
  • Problem Solving/Negotiation Skills/Team Management with Direct Reports
  • Understand Competitive Brands/Distributors to create effective programming to support depletion plan.
  • Understanding Key NJ Pricing Strategies to ensure ABG is aligned to strategic pricing guidelines.
  • Develop WOW to drive sustainable sales attainment
  • Must be proficient in Office 360 including Excel and PowerPoint; Diver
  • Team Management and Organization Skills ; Ability to influence entire vertical structure with ABG and Supplier.
