These are all Temp-to-Hire Positions After 90 days.

1st Shift 7 am- 3:30 pm
2nd Shift 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm

Pay rate: $18-$20/ hour paid weekly

Steel-toe shoes required

General job summary:

This position will help ensure the safe production of quality parts by forging and trimming of automotive hub bearings as part of a press team.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Works in a two to three person team to forge and trim parts for use in automobile hub bearing units.
• Operates and adjusts forge press according to guidelines and in a safe manner.
• Able to run press independently.
• Sets up and uses machine interfaces to operate a forging press, trimming press, electric billet furnace and billet hopper.
• Adjusts die and tooling sets.
• Accurately completes quality and production control documents.
• Reads tooling and part blue prints.
• Uses gauges to accurately measure and verify proper part dimensions.
• Communicates abnormalities on all production operations to Supervisor.
• Follows all PPE rules and company policies.
• Practices 5S in work area.
• Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work is performed in a manufacturing setting standing and walking on concrete floors throughout an 8 to 12 hour shift with frequent handling of metal parts weighing 1 to 5 pounds, visual inspection, occasional bending or reaching, use of hand tools, use of up to 50 lbs. of force to move heavy loads on wheels.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
