Alliance Technology Group - I.T. Company looking for In-House Counsel in the Eastern Standard Time Zone

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Attorney to join our legal team at a leading Systems Integrator & IT Solutions/Services company based in Maryland specializing in IT Infrastructure; Physical & Cyber Security, Storage, Systems and Networking . As a Junior Attorney, you will work under the guidance and supervision of the General Counsel, providing legal support and assisting with a wide range of legal matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to gain valuable experience in the technology industry and contribute to the company's legal initiatives.

Responsibilities:

- Contract Review and Drafting: Assist in the review, drafting, and negotiation of contracts and agreements, including software licenses, service agreements, vendor contracts, and confidentiality agreements. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

- Provide legal advice and support on corporate governance matters, including drafting corporate policies and procedures.

- Conduct legal research and analysis on various topics, including technology law, intellectual property, contracts, regulatory compliance, and data privacy. Summarize findings and provide recommendations to the General Counsel and other stakeholders. and provide guidance on compliance issues, risk management, and intellectual property.

- Assist with litigation management; Conduct legal research, gather relevant documents, and assist in the preparation of legal briefs and responses.

- Create and maintain legal templates and forms related to commercial contracts and legal compliance.

Requirements:

- J.D. degree from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in at least one state

- 1-2 years of experience in a law firm or corporation, preferably working in the technology industry.

- Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, corporate governance, and technology law.

- Excellent research and drafting skills.

- Proactive and resourceful with good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.
