Alliance Homecare is looking for a MALE Certified Home Health Aide to work with a client in Woodmere, NY!

• Client : Male, 89 Years Old
• Diagnosis : Dementia
• Location : Woodmere, NY
• The client will be moving to Long Beach in the near future, ideally the caregiver will be flexible to continue care after moving.
• Schedule : Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 8 : 30am-5 : 30pm
• Open shift available on Sunday 5 / 5 8 : 30-5 : 30!
Client Details :
• Kosher home

• Requires assistance with changing & showering
• Caregiver to encourage eating 3x a day
• Caregiver to encourage walking
• General companionship / interaction with the client - he loves to play games and watch baseball.
• Caregiver NOT to be on phone while on shift.

Home Health Aides will provide the following tasks as indicated on the individualized plan of care :

• Perform home management tasks including housekeeping, laundry, shopping, accompanying to appointments, and errands
• Prepare and serve simple modified diets according to instruction and assists with feeding
• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Assist with medication as specified on plan of care
• Observe and report all changes to RN
• Complete all other duties assigned within the HHA scope of practice

HHA Job Requirements :

• Must have an active New York State Home Health Aide Certificate
• Must have at least 1 year of HHA experience
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Fluency in English
