$25 per hour

• Client: Male, 89 Years Old
• Primary Diagnosis: Alzheimer's
• Location: Manhattan, NY
• Schedule: Friday-Sunday 9:30a-9:30p (end time is NOT flexible)

Client is alert and oriented to place and person, but can be forgetful during conversation and will need redirecting. He has a history of Alzheimer's and two back surgeries leading to stiffness. Walks with a walker in the home and uses a wheelchair outside. Has a suprapubic catheter, caregiver to empty bag as needed. Caregiver will be helping with shower, meal prep, any errands, getting him ready for the day and for bed. Caregiver should encourage client to do PT, read, do puzzles, engage him throughout the day.

The Home Health Aide will assist clients with personal care (ADLs) and home management tasks including but not limited to: housekeeping, laundry, shopping, and errands. The experienced healthcare professional that is selected for this role must have relevant experience providing top concierge care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active Home Health Aide Certification in New York State.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience as an HHA.
• Experience working with high profile/VIP clients.
• Good Organizational writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate competence in performing necessary skills.
• Experience with adults and the senior population is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable with technology.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Fluency in English

• Complete all other duties assigned within the HHA scope of practice.
• Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate information with clients of all ages and socioeconomic levels.
• Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet identified patient needs.
