Job Summary: The Caregiver/PCA is responsible for assisting clients with their daily personal care needs and providing companionship, support, and assistance as required. This role may involve working with clients in their homes, assisted living facilities, or other healthcare settings. we are hiring RESTON, VA area!

Responsibilities:

1. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
2. Provide assistance with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders.
3. Help clients with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, tidying up living spaces, and errands.
4. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in conversation, activities, and recreational outings.
5. Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to appropriate healthcare professionals or family members.
6. Ensure client safety and well-being at all times, following proper procedures for lifting, transferring, and positioning as needed.
7. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, including daily activity logs, medication records, and any incidents or concerns.
8. Collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, therapists, and family caregivers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
9. Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations governing client care and privacy.
10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in caregiving techniques, communication, and safety practices.
