As the Director of Facilities you'll be responsible for overseeing all full and part-time Environmental Services staff (Custodians, Housekeepers, Laundry Aides and Maintenance/Van Drivers) and the overall operations of the Environmental Services department. You should review written maintenance requests and coordinate routine maintenance of grounds. You'll conduct daily tours of the facility for safety surveillance to monitor potentially unsafe work areas, equipment and practices and ensure compliance of Life Safety regulations governing the skilled nursing facilities. You'll be expected to use your knowledge and skills of plumbing, electrical, roofing and carpentry in the implementation of repair projects and preventive maintenance schedules.
