We are currently in need of a Behavioral Health Specialist i.e. Outpatient therapist, clinical therapist, mental health clinician, mental health counselor. LMSW level

CONTINGENT , UP TO 32 HOURS PER WEEK

Job purpose

*please note, this position can be done on a hybrid schedule, both at home and in office at times.

Behavioral Health Specialists (LMSW) provide short term therapy utilizing brief interventions based on evidence-based practices. Monitor caseload through patient sessions, assessments, and documentation of services.

Behavioral Health Specialists perform these essential duties as defined below:

• Provide screenings and symptom assessments of patients.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions to patients.
• Completes the treatment planning process including documentation of progress notes.
• Tracks outcomes as identified by the program.
• Provides support to the team regarding behavioral health topics.
• Provides crisis management when required.
• Must have firm boundaries and ethics.
• Works will all provider levels and staff in a collaborative manner including Physicians, MA’s and office staff.
• Other duties as assigned
• Other duties may include:
• Commitment to individual and team work expectations.
• Time is generally spent with patients in sessions and then documenting sessions.
• Attendance at meetings that may require travel
• Minimum of 40 hours per week required.
• Qualifications

These are the qualifications that are necessary for someone to be considered for the position

• Michigan Licensure as LMSW.
• SUD experience is a plus. (CADC Certification preferred)

Crisis Intervention preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
