AFPS is now hiring an alarm lead technician that has extensive knowledge on EST, NOTIFIER and Firelite systems. AFPS offers competitive pay, use of employee vehicle to and from job-sites and provides teams when needed to complete timely and proper installations and renovation projects. Lead technicians are seen as the leaders in the department and will have the responsibilities of leading teams when required, helping other technicians and training new helpers to succeed.
JOB DUTIES:
· Required to complete jobs in a timely and proper manner: installations, renovations and service.
· Ability to lift 20 pounds, climb ladders and operate lifts when needed for jobs
· Ability to work 40 hours and be dependable
· Out of town and/or overnight travel limited but may be required
· On call rotation schedule with compensation
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be able to work independently, provide leadership to teams and/or helpers and provide troubleshooting when necessary
· Clean MVR and valid driver’s license required
· Must have extensive knowledge in a multitude of fire alarm systems
· NICET/ NFP/EST certification preferred but not required
· Weekend jobs are seldom but must be available when required
