We are looking for a warehouse associate for a labor intensive late 2nd shift warehouse position.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 19:00 to 03:00.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving all truck deliveries of Ford Motors: these will come as totes, cages and single large boxed pieces
• Receiving all truck deliveries of any bulk mail: these will be cages or gaylords of bulk bags and packages of goods
• Receiving and sorting all other products (ex: library book totes, bank bags, interoffice mail, tray mail, etc.)
• Sorting all deliveries to different locations throughout the warehouse so that they are staged for delivery to dealers and our other locations
• Helping load trucks to go on route
• You would use a scanner to receive scan and load scan everything. All pieces must be accounted for.
• You will be responsible to report any damage when shipments come in and in the event that something gets damaged on our dock
• OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
• You would report to the supervisor or manager on duty
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Take direction well

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior warehouse experience
• Have an acceptable MVR as per our company Fleet Safety Policy
• Pass pre-employment testing (drug screen, DOT physical and background check)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Forklift certified
• Thinks outside the box; searches for innovative solutions
• 1-2 years related warehouse experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF JOB

• Ability to lift cases up to 45 - 70 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to push/pull either 2 wheeler or pallet of cases
• Ability to operate manual pallet jack
• Standing and bending for 6-8 hours per day
