POSITION SUMMARY

Brewery Support is responsible for maintaining the brewery and restaurants to the highest standard of cleanliness and quality.

This is a cross-functional role working in multiple departments to provide operations support as needed. This includes facility-wide housekeeping and production assistance in Brewing, Packaging, Warehouse, Quality, and other departments.

DUTIES

Maintains an orderly and hygienic facility

Performs routine and non-routine housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, washing windows and walls, cleaning restrooms, cleaning / polishing equipment, and removing or sorting trash / recycling / compost

Works in multiple departments, including but not limited to the following (may vary by site; training will be provided)

Facilities light facilities maintenance duties such as maintaining restaurant furniture, replacing light bulbs, documenting work orders and performing other duties as needed

Maintains a personal workflow that enables easy hand off to others

Must be able to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets (S.D.S.) and label instructions

Must follow all safety policies and procedures

Ability to use furniture moving equipment such as a dolly or cart

Ability to safely operate powered equipment such as a shop vacuum, floor buffer, carpet extractor, high pressure water systems and a variety of hand tools after training

Must be flexible and responsive to brewery and restaurant needs

Continuously seeks opportunities to increase knowledge and skill base

You must be able to work inside and outside, in all weather conditions.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); work near moving mechanical parts;
• outdoor weather conditions; extreme cold (non-weather); extreme heat (non-weather) and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment varies based on area of service;

it may be quiet to moderate or on the manufacturing floor with exposure to noise levels which regularly require hearing protection.

This position will on occasion need to wear a respirator in dusty environments and utilize other PPE as appropriate.

The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance, and maneuver 168 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and to continuously use hands to finger, handle, or feel;

reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work at heights on rooftops, tanks, tank tops platforms or in aerial boom or scissor lift, to climb ladders or stairs and to grasp or hold.
