Technical Sales Representative

Our client is looking for a Business Development Representative with a technical/software product background. They offer a comprehensive software solution tailored for the precast concrete industry, covering every aspect of the process. The software is designed with user-friendliness in mind, aiming to simplify the lives of our customers. They provide thorough training on all our proprietary software.

The role involves:

• Swiftly grasping essential concepts in the roofing and Software as a Service (SaaS) industries.
• Educating potential clients about our software, emphasizing its advantages and demonstrating its value to their businesses.
• Ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries, both over the phone and via email.
• Maintaining an organized approach while navigating various stages of the sales process.
• Cultivating and nurturing vital customer relationships, fostering long-term partnerships between our Software Services team and our valued clients.
• Assisting customers with the technical aspects of implementation, including training on tools, configuring business processes, and basic system integrations.
• Addressing challenges, whether technical or non-technical, and collaborating internally within Software Services to ensure smooth onboarding processes.

Requirements for this role include:

• A degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in technical or software sales.
• Exceptional skills in building and maintaining customer relationships.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong analytical capabilities for advanced problem-solving.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• The capacity to influence decision-making and drive change.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Sound judgment and a commitment to seeing tasks through to completion.
• Proficiency in developing trusted relationships and devising creative solutions.
• A high degree of adaptability.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Zoom.
