Allergy Asthma Immunology of Rochester - Rochester, NY

We are looking for a dependable, energetic Registered Nurse to work in a fast-paced Allery/Asthma multi-site practice. Work with a respected dedicated team of professionals in a thriving private medical practice. We provide quality nursing care to adults and pediatric patients. This position will coordinate all aspects of extract preparation, ensuring the safe production of allergen extracts for all AAIR patients receiving immunotherapy. Must be able to prioritize, multi-task and accept responsibility for following protocols set forth by the physician-owner and nurse manager. Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Required Licensure/Certifications: Current New York State practical nurse license, CPR and valid NYS driver license

Preferred Experience: 1-2 years of nursing experience

Special Skills: Experience in allergy, asthma, and immunotherapy (preferred), we will train, EMR, computer skills, ability to multi-task. Complete AAAAI extract mixing competency exam and annual media/sterility competency.

Physical Demands: Requires full range of body motion including handling of patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination. Involves standing and walking a major portion of the day. May be required to lift to 10 lbs.
