Allen Monument Company is hiring a Memorial Specialist at our Indianapolis Indiana store location. The Specialist will be responsible for all sales duties including new leads, updating customers, and closing sales.

The duties include working with customers to create a memorial that is personalized for the family. The Specialist will work closely with the family to determine the type, size, color, and design of the memorial. You will follow up with all customers and maintain a digital file folder on the computer. The Specialist will stay on top of the order from start to finish and resolve any customer complaints and customer satisfaction.

The Memorial Specialist should achieve excellent customer service while meeting the store’s sales goal.

Responsibilities include:

Welcome customers into the store and help them with their memorable needs

Process all sales into QuickBooks and our digital computer file system.

Use our custom sales tools to “Drive Sales”

Stay up to date on products offered and discuss the availability and options.

Requirements include:

Basic knowledge of computers, email, and sales software.

Some sales experience with customers or in a similar role is preferred.

Track commissions and report to management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Availability to work every other Saturdays 9am to 1pm.

Availability to train at our Crawfordsville IN location if needed.

Compensation includes:

• Starting at $15-$20 (Experience Dependent) Flat Rate Hourly Plus overtime
• Company Paid Commissions on Sales Based on Performance
