IT System Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT System Development Manager to join our IT Demand Delivery Area. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our company’s various business units, providing crucial support to both manufacturing production and office operations. Your responsibilities will encompass defining, developing, maintaining, and optimizing IT systems to enhance efficiency across the organization.

Your Role

As an IT System Development Manager, you will lead our team of skilled professionals in the development and enhancement of cutting-edge IT systems. Your role is pivotal in aligning technological solutions with the company objectives, driving innovation, and ensuring seamless integration of systems across multiple departments.

As a working manager, you will:

• Lead and manage a team of system development analysts: providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for system development projects with a focus on manufacturing process optimization.
• Actively engage in development activities, contributing to the coding, design, and implementation of IT systems, while overseeing and coordinating the development efforts of the team.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise in system development methodologies, programming languages, frameworks, and tools; guiding the team in adopting best practices and maintaining high coding standards.
• Manage the full development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, while actively participating in requirements gathering, design, testing, and implementation of manufacturing-related IT solutions.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, assess project feasibility, and ensure alignment between IT solutions and manufacturing processes.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in system development for the manufacturing sector, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team to enhance development processes and outcomes.
• Other day-to-day assignments as issued by Alleima Management and travel up to 20% of the time.

About You

We are seeking candidates who are exceptionally organized and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in the Information Technology field along with a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Proficiency in a wide range of technologies, including ERP system, web-based applications, and DevOps practices coupled with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and meticulous attention to detail is essential. Previous experience developing in IBMi, .NET, Java, HTML, or Python and understanding of the manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.
