Alleguard is Hiring a 2nd Shift Quality Technician Near Radford, VA
We are looking for a Quality Technician to inspect, test, sort, sample, measure, and/or weigh raw materials or processed, machined, fabricated, or assembled parts or products for defects, wear, and deviations from specifications. The Quality Technician will use precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment.
Pay: $17 USD/hr
Responsibilities
- Inspect packaged items
- Audit presses
- Maintain checks on specified parts
- Keep records and keep track of any product (outgoing or incoming ) that is out of spec
- Measure and weigh products
- Training employees
- Other duties as assigned
- Position may require periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity.
- Position requires ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis.
- Position requires frequent and repeated standing, stooping, bending, and grasping.
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
- Minimum of 2 years employment experience in quality inspection/management position (preferably in a manufacturing environment).
