The Individual will provide reports of technical data gathered during analysis to verify visual, electrical, and mechanical characteristics of systems, integrated circuits, or semiconductor devices. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Works with teams (Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, Design, etc.) to solve problems arising from customer returns, process anomalies, engineering evaluations, and new product development Uses circuit analysis and troubleshooting/debugging skills to analyze problems with integrated circuits or devices Uses laboratory methods, processes, procedures, and equipment to perform failure analysis process Uses Wet and Dry Chemical deprocessing or parallel polishing to analyze integrated circuits or devices Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree preferred in electrical engineering or 2-5 related industry experience. Skills & Abilities: Working knowledge of analog / digital circuits and semiconductor physics Demonstrate competence with the operation and application of standard failure analysis tools including: X-ray analysis, Acoustic Microscopy, Light Microscopy, Oscilloscopes, signal generator, multimeter, voltage source, and current source.
