Job Responsibilities:

1. Assists the I.T. Site Manager with Tier 2 hardware and software support.
2. Responsible for assisting the I.T. Site Manager with projects driven by community initiatives.
3. Provides assistance with maintaining inventory of I.T. equipment.
4. Responsible for assisting with the deployment of equipment for life cycle replacement or as need for new equipment occurs.
5. Provide support for telephone systems in areas such as Move, Add, Change (MAC) requests and basic troubleshooting.
6. Support resident technology initiatives including community computer clubs and resident computer labs.
7. Assist with delivering end user training on standard applications and hardware.
8. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1 – 2 years prior IT experience preferred
• Knowledge of personal computer systems and desktop operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of networking, server administration, and phone systems.
• Strong and effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints, as well as deal appropriately with emotional customer service situations.
• Ability to manage priorities, working both independently and within a team.
• Must have a strong customer service focus.
• Must have the temperament to work under pressure in a demanding and changing environment.
