Rhopac is looking for a Setup Operator to join our team!

Phopac processes hundreds of different materials that are produced to exacting specifications. Our raw material suppliers provide high performance materials used in automotive, Off-highway, medical, electrical, and other industrial applications. We are centrally located in Libertyville, Illinois and fabricate a significant portion of US Manufacturers non-metallic, die-cutting, slitting, and laminating needs. In addition, our 40,000 square foot facility provides our customers with amply capacity for growth. Rhopac employs a tenured workforce with an average of 15 years of service. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Set up punch press equipment according to specifications and ensure all necessary materials and tools are available.
• Operate punch press equipment to produce high-quality products and meet production goals.
• Conduct regular inspections on equipment to identify any issues or malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical problems that may arise during operation.
• Recognize the condition of dies, adjust and make ready templates as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery.
• Ensure all safety protocols are always followed to prevent accidents.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve production targets and maintain efficient workflow.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including quality control standards.
• Performs other production related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Motivated individual who is ready to learn and grow
• Reliable transportation
• Bilingual speaking is a plus
• Ability to read prints, follow work instructions and measure critical dimensions on finished parts
• Post high schedule education or taught knowledge of mechanical systems (curious how things work)
• Quality oriented and attention to detail
• Lift/move up to 50lbs
• Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time
