Allegiant Staffing is accepting resumes for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation at one of our client sites in Rice Lake, WI. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.

Duties:

Perform maintenance and repair work on production line equipment with little or no assistance or supervision.

• Manage scheduled work through CMMS.
• Perform preventive maintenance work as scheduled. Inspect equipment to ensure proper maintenance. Identify and document required repairs.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting on three-phase and single-phase power, and equipment, using a multimeter and arc-flash gear.
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on equipment.
• Replace bearings, seals, electric motors, and gear drives.
• Repair and/or splice wire belting, modular belting, and rubber belts on conveyors.
• Repair and maintain heating and ventilating units.
• Repair and maintain material handling equipment.
• Sharpen and install blades on various machines.
• Maintain ammonia compressors, air compressors, and vacuum systems.
• Perform plumbing on steam, water, and hydraulics
• Proactively support internal and external customers.
• Maintain open lines of communication with maintenance lead, shift personnel, supervisors, maintenance planner, and other shifts.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One to three years of previous work experience and on-the-job training.
• Must be proficient in three or more of the following areas: refrigeration (ammonia),electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics, PLCs, robotics, ability to read blueprints and schematics, stainless steel fabrication, and welding.
• PC skills and knowledge of CMMS systems are a plus.
• Basic mechanical skills and use of hand and power tools required.
