Job Overview:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and providing accurate financial information to management for decision-making purposes.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, cash flow projections, variance analysis, and providing insights and recommendations to management
- Manage P/R (via Third Party), A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets, Job Costs

- Develop ad hoc reporting as required

- Coordinate the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable accounting standards
- Prepare regulatory reports and filings as required
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Oversee general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries and month-end close processes

Skills & Requirements:
- College degree (BA or BS) in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics
- 10 years experiance in Skill Nursing Home Healthcare
- CPA License (Preferred)
- Intermediate level knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, Dynamic Arrays, Dashboards)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of GAAP
- Excellent financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Previous experience in public accounting is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to perform account analysis and reconciliation accurately
- Solid understanding of general ledger accounting principles
