Direct Hire Positions in Whitsett NC

Position : Catcher / FeederHours : 6p to 6am ( 2- 2- 3 Schedule)Pay : $16 per Hour plus shift differential Feeder / catcher functions and responsibilities :

• Operate the folding and gluing machinery.
• Assist the operator in detecting machine jams or malfunctions.
• Visually inspects cartons as packing into master cases to detect color, quality, or gluingdeficiencies.
• Stack cartons into the machine feeder to keep feeder full and machine running.

Packer functions and responsibilities :

• Pack the required number of finished cartons into master cases by packing handfuls ofglued cartons in master packing cases.
• Place the master cases onto the conveyor belt to be sent on to the case sealer.
• Maintain the physical structure of the establishment by keeping the work area neat, clean, and safe.
• Visually inspect product for damage or other non-conforming conditions.
• Ensures the cartons are stacked and placed on pallet correctly.
• Places off quality cartons on the waste pallet to be counted by the operator.
• Assist the Operator in running quality cartons to customer specifications at the fastest possible speed
• Reports unsafe conditions to the Operator, Team Lead, or Shift Supervisor.
• Helps during machine down time with clean-up and resolution.
• Performs other related productions duties as assigned by Management.

Feeder / Catcher Qualifications :

• High School diploma or GED (Required)
• Regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to read and interpret information, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Must pass Background Check and Drug screen
• Reliable Transportation
• Must be able to interview in Greensboro NC (Positions are in Whitsett)
