Duties:
- Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, considering any dietary restrictions or special instructions.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Requirements:
- HHA Certificate (75 hrs)
- Drivers license (Preferred)
- Palm beach county badge
- Auto insurance (Preferred)
- Second form of ID
- CPR Card
- Level 2 background
- Physical within last year/PPD within last year or chest X-ray (within last 5 years)
- Alzheimer’s 2 hr course
- HIV/AIDS 4 hrs course
- Assistance with medication 2 hr course
- domestic violence 2 hr course
