About the Position:

We are looking for a Strategic Finance Lead, reporting to the Head of Strategic Finance and Risk to help drive our decision making and strategic direction at Parafin. If you are a self-starter who enjoys solving complex, multi-sided problems, come join us!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support critical corporate finance processes including development of company budget, financial model, and board reporting 

• Support investor relations activities, including ongoing engagement and facilitating new investor diligence

• Lead scenario planning to better understand risk-reward tradeoffs and present actionable recommendations

• Collaborate with our data science team to develop company and product-level KPIs 

• Distill complex analysis and financial results into easily digestible reporting for Parafin’s Board of Directors and leadership team

• Working closely with our Accounting and Engineering teams to build and improve our financial reporting and team operations

• Best in-class modeling skills with a strong analytical mindset

• Ability to distill complex analysis and financial information into digestible insights for non-finance audiences

• You care deeply about the quality and correctness of your work

• You take initiative and can own and drive large projects independently

• You are comfortable with ambiguity and managing competing priorities

• You are excited about working on a small team and setting the foundations for the finance team at Parafin

• Excited by our mission and the challenge of working in a dynamic start-up environment

We Prefer If You Have:

• 5 years of work experience across buy-side investing, investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance (e.g., strategic finance, corporate development)

• Technology, Business Services, or FIG experience, with a preference for direct fintech exposure

• Experience working in a high-growth organization on a scaling team
