As a member of our team, there will be great training and opportunities for continuing education. We will constantly strive to improve ourselves and our patient experience together as a team. Consistent and thoughtful communication between all team members will be vital to our success to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding their job description and responsibilities. Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  • Welcome patients in the dental office
  • Excellent ability to make patients feel comfortable
  • Prepare patients and work area for treatments or checkups ensuring patient's comfort
  • Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
  • Sterilize instruments according to regulations
  • Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
  • Undertake lab tasks as instructed
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
  • Schedule appointments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures

Skills

  • Certified CDA-2
  • Applicants should have a minimum of 2-3 years dental assisting experience.
  • Should be X-Ray certified and maintain CPR certification.
  • The ideal candidate will be comfortable in all areas of dentistry including but not limited to composite fillings, crown and bridge, dental implant placement and restorations, root canals
  • Willing to help in any area of the practice when necessary and willing to learn new procedures and new, innovative ways of doing things.
  • Prior knowledge of itero scanning, CBCT / Pano is a plus, but not required as the team will be receiving training prior to opening.
  • Polished verbal skills

Founded in 2021, Allay Dental Group will open its doors to patients in Spring 2022. Located in the beautiful city of Clayton, North Carolina it will serve Johnston County, NC and surrounding cities including South East Raleigh.
Allay means to "alleviate" the pain, anxiety and apprehension that patients feel at the prospect of a visit to the Dentist. Led by Dr. Tanya Rajdev, Allay Dental Group is committed to providing a relaxed environment, taking the time to deeply understand their oral health challenges, and building long term relationships for the best patient outcomes!
We will offer a comprehensive suite of dental services under one roof including offering treatments such as root canal and implants from our specialist staff - Endodontist and Periodontist.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
