All Weather Contractors is a growing GC based in Jacksonville, FL and we have an opening for an Assistant Superintendent in our Multi-family Construction Renovation group for our Mobile, AL project(s). Currently we have a project in the Southwest side of Mobile, on Girby Road, East of 90. We are looking for a person who has prior Property Maintenance Management/Supervisory experience in a multi-family/apartment community setting that is interested in taking their career into the exciting area of Construction Renovation. This is an ideal position for someone who does not want to be on call anymore and is able to work with multiple trades and vendors to make apartment units turn-key ready for our clients. This person will take the lead on being a liaison between the apartment community in Mobile and our home office in Jacksonville, FL. Help complete daily job site reports, provide photo evidence of the daily progress of units being renovated, be a contact and take the supervisory role with our regular subcontractors, oversee job site safety, organize suppliers and materials and assist in meeting completion schedules. We offer complete support from our management team and the Jacksonville home office to be successful in the field.

Qualified applicants will have:

• At least 7-9 years proven apartment Property Maintenance work at a Supervisory level.
• Experience in working with a variety of vendors in various trades to help complete renovation projects at the community level; including interior apartment renovations and club houses, as well as smaller scopes of work such as hardscapes, fencing, gazebos, signage, fountains.
• Proficient with technology and computer (laptop) usage to include, uploading documents and pictures into Builder Trend and strong e-mail knowledge to communicate effectively from the field to the PM and home office.
• Experience in receiving and then coordinating materials/inventory necessary to complete each unit renovation.
• Able to track and keep secure the products, appliances and materials needed to complete unit renovations.
• Ability to work with multiple trades on site and coordinate work schedules.
• Helping with the quality control processes throughout the duration of the project as units are completed and management wants to conduct walk-thrus.
• Ability to meet project deadlines including regularly communicating to PM and home office.
• Live in the area and have local contacts and connections for supplies, materials and labor if needed. (i.e...plumbing, HVAC, drywall, paint vendors, etc.)
• Understanding of local codes, permitting and enforcement agencies as needed.
• Bi-lingual Spanish helpful.
• Ability to be part of a team and communicate with home office about project status on a daily basis.
• Very strong computer skills, with Outlook e-mail, Excel and Word required.
• Professional, with leadership capabilities.

• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job including lifting 50lbs, walking, bending, climbing, talking, hearing, standing for long periods of time on job site. Some sitting, visual acuity for computer work.

• A clean driving record (will be checked)

• Successful completion of a background check and a drug test (will be checked)
