Job Summary

The Site Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operations of a program site focused on the supervision and development of teenagers. This role involves managing a team of 6 -10 Program Coordinators who directly supervise the teens; ensuring the successful implementation of program activities; maintaining a safe and supportive environment; and fostering positive relationships with participants and stakeholders. The Site Coordinator plays a crucial role in creating a nurturing and enriching experience for the teens while also providing leadership and support to the staff.

Responsibilities

Program Oversight:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate program activities and initiatives in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Ensure that program activities are engaging, educational, and age-appropriate for teenage participants.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and make adjustments as necessary to meet the needs of participants and stakeholders.

Staff Management:

  • Train, and supervise a team of 6-10 Program Coordinators who serve as mentors and supervisors for teenage participants.
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance, and professional development opportunities for staff members.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance staff performance and development.

Participant Engagement and Support:

  • Build positive relationships with teenage participants and provide support and guidance as needed.
  • Ensure that the program site maintains a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants.
  • Address any concerns or conflicts that arise among participants and/or staff and facilitate resolution in a respectful and constructive manner.

Administrative Duties:

  • Manage program budgets, expenses, and resources effectively to maximize program impact and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to program activities, participant progress, and staff performance.
  • Coordinate communication and collaboration with parents, schools, community partners, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Coordinate transportation for students to and from the site
  • Conduct regular meetings with Executive Director to ensure priorities are clearly communicated

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies related to youth programming and child safety.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to participants, staff, and the program site through proactive planning and implementation of safety protocols.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to any emergencies or incidents that occur at the program site.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related field
  • At least four (4) years of supervisory experience in youth development, program management, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with diverse groups of people, including teenagers, staff members, parents, and community partners.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey information and ideas to various audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-faced, ever changing environment
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other relevant software applications for program management and documentation
  • Knowledge of best practices in youth development, program design, and evaluation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to support program activities and events.
  • Access to a vehicle with insurance and valid Ohio Driver’s license required. This position requires driving students to and from the program site and into the community using a 14-passenger mini bus. Employee screens are conducted by our insurance agent.
  • Must be a US Citizen or possess a valid US work visa.
  • Approved BCI/FBI background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,960.00 - $57,200.00 per year
