We are a rapidly growing contracting company located in Riverside, California with work throughout Southern California. We specialize in light commercial tenant improvements which include retail, restaurant, and office buildingsQualificationsRequirements:• Reads and understands blueprints and specifications and related documents. • Solicits proposals from vendors, subcontractors, conducts site visits. • Working with a variety of people with different levels of experience• Capable of creating Change Orders with time and material breakdown• Responsible for creating RFI’s• Knowledge and basic understanding of budgets, project materials and labor• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed project budgets• Reviewing/approving all project invoices for accuracy and discrepancies• Proficient computer knowledge including MS Office 365 • Meets with clients, reviews subcontractor proposals. • Prepares proposals and manages the project.• Attends bid meetings and visits the site as necessary to fully comprehend all site evaluations, logistics, necessary products, and expectations in order to prepare the most competitive estimate.• Must have strong communication, organizational skills and oversee all aspects of the projects, including scheduling, managing personnel, attending progress meetings with the clients and meeting deadlines.• Prepares bids accurately from start to finish, including, itemized quantities (if needed) for final review Additional InformationOther requirements A minimum of 2 years full-time experience as an estimatorValid California State Driver’s License (clean record) and current, valid insurance, and clean background check.Field ExperienceBenefitsCompetitive salary and bonuses ($55,000 /yr) depending on experienceHealth InsurancePaid vacationPaid holidaysPaid sick daysCompany cell phoneCompany laptop computer *Equal opportunity and drug free workplace*All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
