Position Summary:

The primary function of this position is to coordinate and/or oversee all aspects of multiple projects from start to finish, to ensure jobs are competed as efficiently as possible, meet project specifications as well as the project completion date.

Essential Functions:

• Supervise, direct and train labor force for successful completion of project
• Adheres to all safety rules, wears proper PPE at all times, and works safely on all jobs.
• Accurately record labor/operator/equipment work hours
• Accurately compile and record pay quantity data
• Have working knowledge of all tasks necessary to complete the project
• Be thoroughly familiar with all project requirements
• Meet formally with Project Manager to discuss/evaluate project status
• Flexibility with regard to schedule, working early and/or extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays when required
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of all roadway construction and pavement preservation practices.
• Attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple on-sight activities.
• Flexibility with regard to schedule, working early and/or extended hours, weekends and holidays when required.

Work Conditions

Incumbent must be able to tolerate moderate to loud noise level (PPE will be provided, including hearing protection as required), long hours standing, sitting, walking, all in various weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, rain and snow).
