Job Purpose: Produce quality trimmed parts to customer’s specifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and understand simple blueprints and standard work instructions
• Trim and clean parts
• Perform visual inspection of parts
• Measure and verify specifications of parts as needed
• Accurately complete required documentation
• Maintain positive traceability of products
• Keep working areas orderly
• Prepare and package parts for shipping
• Communicate with production lines as necessary
• Properly record non-conforming material
• Operate various pieces of equipment and tools including but not limited to, razor knives, die grinders, bead blasters, part washers, drill press, band saw, lathe, and disc sander
• Operate and read quality and dimensioning tools such as calipers, micrometers, pyrometers, and torque wrench

This list of duties is not meant to be a complete list. Technicians are to cross-train in all aspects of Trim Floor production to fulfill the job intent.

Required safety equipment provided: Cut gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, dust masks. Goggles and face masks when required. Employee is to provide steel toed shoes. All-State has an annual reimbursement allowance for steel toed shoes.

• Must be a team player
• Ability to work effectively with co-workers
• Work in fast paced environment and maintain high quality standards
• Able to lift 50-75 lbs. (rarely)
• Able to be on feet most of the day
• Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
• Communicate effectively with supervisor and peers
• Understand basic math and means of measuring
• Able to work in elevated temperatures (up to 120 degrees F.)
