All-Star Sports Academy is the Greater Philadelphia area’s premier organization for developing young athletes through mentorship, instruction, and competition. Since 1998, our organization evolved from one to six facilities and is a national leader for baseball and softball training with a focus on mentoring young players and emphasizing the benefits of hard work, commitment, and excellent training routines. Our All-Star Tournament Series, a division of ASSA, is the nation’s premier provider of guaranteed college exposure events, operating college exposure and non-college exposure tournaments and camps throughout the East Coast.

All-Star Sports Academy is searching for an experienced, motivated, and martech-savvy Email Marketing Specialist to support and scale our email marketing communications and conversion strategies. This role will focus primarily on implementing and analyzing our CRM and digital data to increase brand awareness, new acquisition, conversions, and drive website and facility traffic. This position will report to and work closely with the Head of Marketing to ensure all campaigns are developed to meet KPIs, marketing objectives, budgets, and brand standards.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Owns process for execution and launch of all email campaigns - including segmentation, testing, and deployment.
  • Oversees the end-to-end workflow related to the email marketing strategy and campaigns; split testing; audience segmenting; etc.
  • Owns the review process to ensure all content, copy, products, and promotions are functioning and representation accurately prior to blast.
  • Create, monitor, and improve marketing automation funnels
  • Develop and maintain quarterly email marketing roadmap and ebriefs; ensures all content is delivered accordingly.
  • Optimize, measure, analyze, and provide insights surrounding our email marketing efforts via analytics platforms and CRM tools.
  • Leverage performance data to develop recommendations on email strategies based on KPIs for our b2b and b2c channels.
  • Responsible for reporting across touchpoints of our email channels; compile and distribute reporting on ongoing campaigns measuring relevant KPIs.
  • Implement allstarsportsacademy.com published content to support cross-channel marketing campaigns; conduct testing, review, and analysis of all content to ensure efficient results.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams, external teams, and third-party vendors as needed to accurately execute the email marketing strategy
  • Collaborate with marketing team members to execute campaigns and strategies to support cohesive brand messaging throughout email marketing efforts.
  • Apply and incorporate useful consumer data to leverage in the creation of compelling content, visual or written.
  • Maintain email database; ensure emails follow industry standards and privacy policie
  • Enhance email sends through sourced graphics, customization, calls-to-action, and additional advanced features
  • Develop and maintain best practices and industry benchmarks for individual email channels and campaign activations.
  • Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned

Qualification Requirements

  • 3-5 years of creating and executing email marketing campaigns.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and experience with email and digital analytic tools is required.
  • Experience with email marketing tools such as Pardot, Klavyio, Marketo, or similar.
  • Experience with content management systems such as Salesforce.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Need to be highly skilled with writing and editing for public consumption.
  • Experience with Google web tools - Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Ability to effectively analyze insights to inform and improve email campaign performance
  • Proficient in building automated workflows.
  • Ability to adapt in a fluid digital space; confidence to bring forth ideas, test and reevaluate methods.
  • Strong attention to detail; strategic mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, plan, and organize.
  • Knowledgeable of front-end web development technologies (HTML, CSS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows required.
