Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. If you have a passion for dentistry and enjoy working in a positive environment, we encourage you to apply.

Duties:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort of patients

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments

- Take and develop dental x-rays using digital imaging software

- Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions

- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software

- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar

- Assist with front desk duties, including answering phone calls and greeting patients

- Perform other duties as assigned by the dentist or office manager

Experience:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant

- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including aseptic technique and infection control protocols

- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and materials

- Familiarity with medical imaging software for capturing and analyzing dental x-rays

- Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform patient assessments
