All Roads is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Dundalk, MD

Description
All Roads is GROWING and searching for a friendly, detail oriented Senior Accountant. If you have amazing Excel skills, a Bachelors degree in Accounting and are ready for a new challenge, let's talk! This role is responsible for preparation of month-end journal entries and reconciliation, preparation and review of monthly financial reporting, management of fixed asset reporting and preparation for external auditors.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare various month-end journal entries to assist in the financial close and reporting process
  2. Reconcile balance sheet each month to ensure accuracy
  3. Fixed asset tracking/depreciation analysis
  4. Analyze account information and General Ledger accounts
  5. Financial audit preparation and cooperation with audit process/external auditors on an annual basis
  6. Ensure proper revenue and expenses are recognized in accordance with GAAP
  7. Accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closes.
  8. Interact with various departments for ad hoc projects as assigned
  9. Other duties as needed
Required Education and Experience
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  2. At least 2 years of experience in the accounting field
  3. Strong working knowledge with Microsoft Excel
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  5. Experience with CDK a plus
  6. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
