All Recycling North is Hiring a Non Ferrous Scale Buyer/Laborer Near Denver, CO

Summary: Responsible for receiving, pricing, and grading raw material (nonferrous scrap) from customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Learn all aspects of nonferrous pricing, grading preparation, and shipment
  • Inspects customer material to determine the nonferrous commodity
  • Uses a computer to purchase the nonferrous material
  • Inspects product to determine compliance with the company's specifications, quality control system for compliance with legal requirements, and shipping conformity to specified standards
  • Operate forklift to load and unload material
  • Review and prepare the necessary documentation to ensure accuracy of materials received and freight loaded in accordance with schedules, supervisory direction, and required federal and state compliance
  • Maintains neat and orderly work areas
  • Complies promotes and supports all environmental and safety policies
  • The employee may be assigned to special projects or required to perform other duties not listed above, which may vary from time to time as determined by management, to meet company needs
  • Be on time and at work daily

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

Must be intermediate in Microsoft Office software.
