Salary: Competitive, Commensurate with Experience starting at 110,000

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the coordination and execution of client functions, ensuring unparalleled customer satisfaction.
  • Drive revenue growth by selling, managing, and coordinating group assignments to surpass revenue goals.
  • Manage contractual agreements related to guest room blocks, meeting spaces, food and beverage services, and special offerings.
  • Foster seamless communication between all hotel departments to ensure the flawless execution of group needs while nurturing positive client relationships.
  • Prepare detailed correspondence, reports, and maintain meticulous files related to catering sales.
  • Actively participate in business review meetings, training sessions, and industry events to stay abreast of market trends and competition.
  • Collaborate with various hotel departments to deliver exceptional service and exceed customer expectations.
  • Control the booking of meeting spaces, prepare comprehensive function sheets, and handle catering correspondence with precision.
  • Forecast banquet food and beverage sales, maintaining accurate function records and analyzing pricing to make necessary adjustments.
  • Coordinate every aspect of banquets, off-site events, and special parties with finesse.
  • Ensure all hotel commitments are fulfilled by liaising effectively with department heads and providing necessary assistance as required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of upscale hotel experience in event operations, with opening experience preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational aptitude and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage complex tasks, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a team-centric approach.
  • Excellent team skills, including active listening, coaching, adaptability, collaboration, and facilitation.
  • Education: 4-year college degree preferred; CMP Certification preferred.
