Responsibilities: A personal trainer level 2/manager is responsible for various key tasks within 9X. They oversee the hiring and training of personal trainers, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to provide effective training to clients. The manager also supervises and evaluates trainers, providing guidance and feedback to help them improve their performance. They create schedules and manage client appointments, ensuring efficient and organized operations. Additionally, the manager develops and implements training programs that align with clients' goals and industry trends, while also ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations. 
In addition to these operational responsibilities, a personal trainer manager also handles financial aspects by managing budgets, tracking revenue and expenses, and making cost-saving recommendations. They actively participate in marketing and promoting personal training services, collaborating with other departments and staying updated on industry trends to attract and retain clients. Resolving conflicts and providing exceptional customer service are also integral parts of their role, as they address client concerns and work towards maintaining positive relationships. Finally, the manager sets performance goals and targets for personal trainers, tracking progress and providing support to help them achieve success. Overall, a personal trainer manager plays a vital role in the smooth functioning, growth, and success of a personal training department. 
Qualifications:
  • Personal training Certification
  • Knowledge of various fitness programs, from basic exercises to more challenging training sessions
  • Ability to guide and motivate clients.
  • Available to work flexible hours and days.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Certificates in CPR and first aid
  • High School Diploma 
  • Punctuality

Special Skills & Knowledge: Candidates should have the following skills and attributes: must be able to work and communicate well with people; be adaptable and accept changes quickly and easily; be willing to address conflict appropriately. Basic computer skills are required with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based products knowledge a bonus.
  •  Routine mobility to include standing, stooping, bending, lifting, walking, and running.
  • Regularly required to sit and work at a phone/computer workstation.
  • Ability to lift 10 lbs-100 lbs.
  • Materials & Equipment: Copy machine, multi-line telephone, personal computer, and fax machine

  • Place clients with appropriate trainers after assessing/ client gym inquiry.
  • Explain exercises in detail and suggest alternatives if needed.
  • Monitor progress of clients’ fitness levels.
  • Maintain the quality and integrity of the gym and program philosophy.
  • Explain safe and proper use of gym equipment.
  • Lead both individual and group training sessions. 
  • Research on new exercise techniques and trends. 
  • Promote the gym’s fitness packages and plans.
  • Perform CPR and administer first aid in case of emergencies.
  • Educate clients about gym safety and hygiene guidelines.
  • Build a positive and trusting relationship with customers.
  • Advise customers on how to change nutritional and lifestyle habits as needed.

Pay Range: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
