All Points Environmental LLC is Hiring an Environmental Specialist (Asbestos/Mold/Lead) Near Corpus Christi, TX

All Points Environmental is a growing full-service environmental consulting firm, established in 2005. We are headquartered in Beaumont, with offices in Houston and Corpus Christi. We are looking for individuals interested in long-term career opportunities for our Corpus Christi office.
Primary responsibilities:
  • Air monitoring/bulk sampling for asbestos and lead-based paint.
  • Collect samples for mold analysis during pre-remediation mold assessments. Prepare mold assessment reports.
  • Independently set up and operate air sampling equipment on site and collect the appropriate number of samples for exposure monitoring.
  • Complete a chain of custody form, submit results for laboratory testing and prepare a summary of findings report
  • Deliver samples daily to the laboratory for analysis. The samples are to be delivered directly to the laboratory, brought to the office.
  • Supply, operate, or maintain personal protective equipment.
  • Prepare or calibrate equipment used to collect or analyze samples.
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb stairs
  • Must pass a respirator fit test, pass a pulmonary function test and an asbestos physical
  • All hires must pass a drug screen (UA and hair follicle) and background check
  • Must possess a Driver's License and have reliable transportation
  • Computer use and experience with Word & Excel software.
  • Must be familiar with MS Office
  • TWIC (Preferred)
  • Bilingual (Preferred)
  • Willingness to travel (up to 50% preferred) 
  • State of Texas Asbestos Air Monitoring Technician and/or Asbestos Inspector License preferred (certifications are also acceptable)
