Summary
Ho-Chunk Inc. Management Services (HCIMS) is seeking a full-time Instructional Systems Designer. The Instructional Systems Designer, under the supervision and guidance of the Program Office, is responsible for designing, developing and evaluating curriculum in accordance with the Instructional Systems Design model, Standard Operating Procedures, and Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation (FLETA standards. This position requires the incumbent to work closely with other program offices, subject matter experts, multimedia specialists, and distributed learning designers to design and develop lesson plans, student materials, and instructional media. The position is based in Blackstone, VA at the U.S. Department of State, Foreign Affairs Security Training Center (FASTC).

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend hours required, as required by business need.
Travel
Occasional local travel may be required.
Experience
At least six (6) years of experience in curriculum design and development.
Education
Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in adult learning, education or curriculum development preferred
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Security Clearance
Must possess or be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET security clearance
