We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a STNA Program Instructor. The STNA instructor is expected to have knowledge of STNA duties and can function as a STNA. In addition, you must have the ability to teach in a structured environment with specialized coursework. Classes include lecture, lab and a clinical component. Instructors are required to have specific knowledge and a STNA Train the Trainer certificate. ```Duties```
-Monitoring students' academic performance and attendance
-Coordinate and communicate with clinical site for scheduling
- Maintaining a positive learning environment
- Ability to teach the curriculum to students, including lecture, class discussion, group discussions, role playing, critical thinking exercise, and application activities related to becoming a STNA
```Requirements```
- Current RN or LPN License with experience working in a nursing home setting
- STNA Train-The-Trainer Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- candidate must have dependable transportation
- Prior teaching or training experience in healthcare preferred
- Experience with working with adults' students
