All Lines Technology has an immediate opening for a Data Engineer in Robinson Township! The individual in this role will play a critical role in managing and optimizing data within our organization. They’ll be responsible for maintaining, organizing, and enhancing our data infrastructure to ensure efficient data flow, performance, and reliability. *THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION. APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUTE TO ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, PA.*Responsibilities:Data Maintenance:
    • Archiving Old Data:
      • Identify and archive outdated data to free up storage space.
    • Verification of Views/Tables/Stored Procedures:
      • Regularly assess the usage of existing views, tables, and stored procedures.
      • Determine which ones are still relevant and in active use.
    • Updating Tables, Views, and Stored Procedures:
      • Collaborate with data analysts and developers to update data structures as needed.
      • Ensure data consistency and accuracy.
Data Management:
    • Data Organization and Design:
      • Eliminate data flow redundancy by optimizing data pipelines.
      • Design efficient data models and schemas.
    • Custom Views and Stored Procedures:
      • Create custom views and stored procedures to meet specific business requirements.
    • Data Integration:
      • Combine historical data with current data from different databases and tables.
Database Performance Monitoring and Tuning:
    • Query Efficiency and Configuration:
      • Monitor query performance and optimize SQL queries.
      • Fine-tune database configurations for optimal performance.
    • Bottleneck Elimination:
      • Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
      • Optimize data retrieval and processing.
    • Partitioning:
      • Set up data partitioning strategies to improve query speed.
Development Testing:
    • Script Testing:
      • Ensure that scripts are thoroughly tested in development environments before deployment to production.
    • Database Updates:
      • Keep development databases up-to-date with the latest data.
    • Testing Jobs and Reports:
      • Validate data pipelines, ETL jobs, and reporting processes in development.
SQL Server Implementation and Maintenance:
    • Implement, configure, and maintain critical SQL Server RDBMS systems.
    • Ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate applications.
    • Execute data loads and perform data modeling to support multiple development teams.
Custom Applications:
    • Handle requests for changes in forms, functionality, or use.
    • Address changes in data, roles, and new personnel.
    • Conduct audits of custom applications (now within audit scope).
Automations Support:
    • Assist Automations with data needs, queries, and stored procedures.
    • Co-support all site SQL servers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and database design.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
