Job Overview:

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to clients in their homes or residential care facilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed
- Assist with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper body mechanics
- Implement behavior management techniques as necessary
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if required
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for clients

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dementia care, home care, or a related field is preferred
- reliable vehicle for transportation
- Knowledge of memory care techniques and strategies
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
