Position Purpose
A versatile position within a dynamic nonprofit that provides community-inspired, volunteer-powered disaster relief. The Rapid Response Manager is responsible for acting as the lead on the ground for the Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) in Rapid Response, deployed to assist in post-disaster assessments and program start-up after disaster events. This role is focused in the US with the need to rapidly deploy after hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, and other weather related events and act as the focal point for All Hands and Hearts in a management role. The role will be responsible for coordinating the team on the ground and liaising with the larger Response Team in regards to team management, health and safety, finance, data tracking, and reporting.
