Warehouse Manager

All Electrical Services is searching for a Warehouse Manager with some relevant experience in Warehouse and/or Logistics Management and Administration to create and maintain an organized system for equipment and inventory efficiency and accountability. Our company is located in Kenner, LA. Opportunities for overtime and weekend work may be available.

We strongly prefer an experienced candidate with a proven track record of organization from the ground, up. We do also require all candidates to have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record/MVR.

General Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain warehouse and equipment
• Optimize inventory and realize upcoming needs for stocked items
• Establish and enforce warehouse protocols and procedures to prevent loss and improve efficiency and accountability
• Communicate and coordinate with management and staff to ensure essential inventory is stocked and available in a timely fashion
• Pre-load site materials needed onto pallets and/or in boxes for staff to easily access and load on their trucks
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other material handlers
• Establish and maintain a system for checking tools/equipment in and out
• Pick up, load/unload, and stock materials and equipment from various suppliers (various company vehicles available depending on transport needs)
• Assist with fleet management and maintenance schedules

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required – NO EXCEPTIONS
• Must be 21 per our insurance requirements
• 2 yr experience in warehouse/logistics administration and management
• Must possess and maintain a clean driving record (24 months of no wrecks/violations)
• Able to follow safety policies and procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment required
• Forklift experience required
• Experience with establishing new protocols and procedures in a warehouse setting
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with staff members, interpret management's needs, and identify solutions
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, while adding to a safe and positive team environment is a must
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs without assistance
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of warehouse/logistics management and administration experience
• Class D/Chauffeur's License preferred
• Current OSHA 10 or 30, First Aid, and CPR certifications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
