All Creatures Small Animal Hospital is looking for a full time veterinary assistant. We are located in Indianola, IA approximately 20 minutes south of Des Moines.

Candidates should be comfortable handling all sizes of dogs and cats and have a general knowledge of their behavior. Prior experience in veterinary clinics is preferred but willing to train motivated individuals. Position includes animal restraint for exams and procedures, assisting with laboratory work and radiographs, assisting clients both on the phone and in person, client education, etc.

Applicant should be able to be on their feet and working for 10 hour shifts. Lifting up to 40 pounds is required. Ability to work as a team and also motivated to work on their own required. Saturday shifts are also required (roughly every other weekend).

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
