All Creature Pet Hospital is actively seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented experienced veterinary assistant who is confident in rooming patients, helping doctors and technicians with daily task like helping in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, we would like for them to be experienced in properly handling and restraining animals, have knowledge of x-ray and positioning, they must understand the importance of client education, and is a positive and supportive team member. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and we encourage our staff to do the same. If you are an experienced veterinary assistant looking to take your skills and knowledge to the next level and work with a great motivated team we are excited to hear from you. Requirements 1 years of prior veterinary experience Knowledge of industry tools and equipment Confidently and comfortably restrain animals Knowledge of surgical prep, monitoring, and recovery Compassionate and caring toward our clients and their pets Must be able to lift over 50 pounds.
