Our organization is seeking a Caregiver/Companion to provide care and company to our clients. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, outgoing and able to communicate effectively. A successful applicant will have experience dealing with dementia, an ability to transport clients and a commitment to continuing education and updating your skills. The successful candidate will join a team of professionals with a positive, supportive work environment and opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care and support for elderly/disabled individuals in their home or facility.
• Assist with hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with mobility.
• Help plan and prepare meals and snacks.
• Provide companionship.
• Help transport to medical appointments, shopping, social activities and events, and other day-to-day errands.
• Provide assistance with household tasks (i.e. laundry).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
