Sales Associate in Marketing Department
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works under the direction of the Marketing & Contracts Manager.
Use online resources to determine who manages/oversees School Crossing Guard program.
Make outbound phone calls to prospective clients to gather information on who manages/oversees their Crossing Guard program.
Input data received from municipalities, school districts and agencies into our database.
Generate marketing letters to prospective clients using the database information collected.
Put together marketing letters, references, and business cards for mailers to prospective clients.
Send out Email marketing letters (electronically) to prospective clients using ACMS Email Marketing Templates.
Catalog and file prospective client information into folders based on State.
File maintenance and upkeep requires hardcopy files to be scanned, saved to client folder.
Update our database contact information to keep contacts as up to date as possible.
Respond to Request for Proposals with comprehensive responses that meet specified deadlines.
COMPETENCIES:
Excellent communication competence and active listening skills.
Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, systems, and database/query skills.
Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and dependable.
Willingness to learn and ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to work in a team environment and foster collaboration with others.
Adaptability in the workplace.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing and minor lifting up to 15 pounds may be required.
COMPENSATION:
Pay range is $17.00 -$22.00 per hour and is based on experience.
