Summary/Objective

The Vendor Relations coordinator position works in a fast paced, team-oriented environment with a growing organization. The Vendor Relations Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining strong vendor relationships to ensure every customer purchase and visit, meets the highest standards of quality, service and delivery, cost objectives, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establishes & maintains a comprehensive database of vendors to meet the departmental goals.
• Locates, qualifies, and recruits vendors in response to our client’s quality needs and standards.
• Works closely with the clients and departments to evaluate such needs daily.
• Ensures all vendors contact information are up to date.
• Ensures all vendors maintain the AAFM compliance requirements.
• Ensures all vendors are entered into the FEXA program and utilizing the platform.
• Negotiates competitive rates by trade and region and act on the vendor’s behalf to resolve any account issues.
• Assists department in various tasks and other assignments as needed.
• Remote work as needed.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D., and or an associate degree preferred.
• Vendor Relations: 1 Year Experience Preferred.
• Knowledge with certificate of insurance and workers compensation programs.
• Excellent written / verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel (Microsoft Office), Internet Explore.
• In-house training on CRM and other company software programs.
• Individual must be highly organized, with the desire and ability to take the initiative and multitask on a fast-paced service-oriented environment that is focused on growth.
• Warrant a friendly, outgoing, positive, and professional manner to communicate with vendors daily.
• Able to work remotely as needed.
