Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Private Duty Nurse to provide personalized in-home healthcare to patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in internal medicine, behavioral health, and urgent care, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Details about the Client's case:

- Located in Bloomington, MN

- 15-year-old Female

- CP - Epilepsy (controlled seizures)

- Hydrocephaly with VP Shunt

- Acute/Chronic Respiratory Failure: BiPAP overnight and during naps, vest tx, cough assist, not super frequent suctioning unless sick

- Diabetes insipidus - needing lab checks and fluid intake adjustments

- New colostomy

- GT Dependent

- Terribly fragile skin requiring frequent repositioning, 4 sacral/IT/perineal wounds (requiring wound vacs)

- Adrenal insufficiency

- Lives with mom and 2 other siblings

Responsibilities:

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records

Requirements:

- Valid nursing license
- Proven experience in patient care, particularly in internal medicine and urgent care settings
- Proficiency in using medical software such as Athenahealth and eClinicalWorks
- Ability to perform dermal fillers injections is a plus
- Familiarity with neonatal ventilators
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $27.00 - $36.35 per hour
