Responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing and auditing environmental, health and safety (EHS) programs that meet internal requirements as well as compliance with government regulations and/or industry consensus requirements. Maintains knowledge of current industry and regulatory EHS trends and provides subject matter expertise (SME) to plant in this area. Assists with creating short and long range plans to continuously improve plant EHS practices and procedures. Assist with environmental duties as assigned or needed. Principle accountability is to promote a “best in class” EHS culture, obtaining cooperation and engagement from site leaders and employees in all job classifications.
